The City of Baraboo is the destination for thousands of tourists each year, located in the southcentral part of Wisconsin 8 miles from I-90/94 within Sauk County. It is 45 miles northwest of Madison along USH 12 and STHs 33, 136, 113, 123, approximately midway between Minneapolis and Chicago, near Devil's Lake State Park. This spectacular park boasts 500 foot cliffs, miles of hiking trails, swimming areas, hundreds of campsites, mountain bike trails, cross country ski trails and is one of the Midwest's premiere rock climbing destinations!

Prairie du Sac and its sister village Sauk City, are located on the banks of the beautiful Wisconsin River in southeastern Sauk County. Downtown Prairie du Sac fronts directly on the river. This attractive location is perfect for specialty stores and professional offices. If you visit here in the summer you will always find folks with fishing poles, trying their luck below the dam. You can enjoy many events through out the year including Bald Eagle watching in the winter, and throwing cow chips on Labor Day Weekend at one of Wisconsin's most peculiar annual events, the Wisconsin State Cow Chip Throw and Art Fair.
Recreational tourism is playing an ever-increasing role in the Reedsburg economy. The 400 Trail, a 22-mile bike trail, links Reedsburg with trails that stretch as far northwest as Trempealeau on the Mississippi River. Visitors to downtown Reedsburg will find evidence of community pride in the strong retail sector and the beautifully maintained historic buildings. The local economy is extremely diverse. Madison Area Technical College in Reedsburg provides continuing education in the classroom and on-site training.
