The City of Oshkosh owns and operates the Grand Opera House, a restored Victorian theater, built at the height of the lumber boom in 1883. Renovations have preserved many of the structure’s charming details like marble fireplaces and ceiling cherubs. These days, the opera house is known for its free summer movie series and for showing hard-to-find foreign films.
 For approximately one week every summer, Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin becomes the world's busiest airport: 2,500+ flights per day. During that week pilots, EAA members and interested observers descend into the area to enjoy daily air shows, military aircraft, 2000+ "show aircraft"(warbirds, ultralights, antiques, classics and homebuilts), workshops, forums and plenty of enlightening conversation.
 The atmosphere at the Leach Amphitheater is as significant as the entertainment, and the natural outdoor waterside setting is truly magnificent. A diverse range of artists, festivals, and events will be held from May through September. With a capacity for 7,000 people, guests can enjoy a seat on the spacious lawn area or on the seated brick area, which provide a great view of the action on stage. Your taste buds will be tempted by a wide variety of assorted hot sandwiches, fries, onion rings, ice cream, sno cones, soda, beer, wine and so much more!
