More than you can Imagine

Platteville is a university-enriched rural community located in the picturesque “Hidden Valleys” driftless region of southwestern Wisconsin. In the scenic Badger State – so named from the early lead miners who were nicknamed “badgers” – Platteville is home to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and its 5000 students. Platteville is also blessed with beautiful architecture in its Main Street area. The National Trust designated the entire downtown as a Historic District for Historic Preservation in 1990.
