  • 1 Stoughton - Red Skelton: A Performance Tribute by Tom Mullica. 3PM & 7PM - General admission. No, it's not an April fool's joke - America's favorite comedian will come alive right before your eyes on the Stoughton Opera House stage. Red Skelton was an American favorite, and Tom Mullica's Red Skelton Tribute has become a favorite of Branson audiences. Tom's voice and movements are incredibly like Skelton's. Join Freddy the Freeloader, Clem Kadiddlehopper, Gertrude & Heathcliff, The Mean Widdle Kid, Willie Lump-Lump, George Applebee, and a legion of memorable characters. Don't miss your opportunity to experience this spectacular 2-hour-trip down memory lane. Stoughton Opera House, 381 East Main St. For more information call (608) 646-0019.

  • 10 Stoughton - Greg Brown in Concert. For an eclectic musician like Greg Brown, folk music as a description doesn't do any justice to his art. Known for his personal and intimate concerts, Brown's most revealing recordings are live. Greg Brown's smooth, subtle poetics and honest no-frills instrumentation bring to mind great oldies like Woody Guthrie, Muddy Waters, and Leadbelly. At times his songs sound a little like Taj Mahal, while other times they're flat out political folk songs like Pete Seeger. Stoughton Opera House, 381 East Main St.. Event starts at 7:30PM. For more information call (608) 646-0019.
  • 11 Briggsville - Sunday Pancake Brunch. Homemade potato & buttermilk pancakes. Sausage, applesauce & milk or coffee. Sponsored by the Lake Mason Lion's Club. Club 23, east of Wisconsin Dells. Event starts at 9:00AM and ends at 1:30PM. For more information call (608) 254-8633.

  • 22 Stoughton - The Anoushka Shankar Project. General admission. Daughter of legendary sitar virtuoso and composer Ravi Shankar and half sister of jazz singer Norah Jones, Anoushka is a star in her own right. She has been performing on the sitar with her father and as a soloist since the age of thirteen. She received her first of two Best World Music Grammy nominations in 2003, the youngest ever nominee in that category. Anoushka's spellbinding sitar playing skilfully merges classical Indian, electronic and world music. Her ability to give the sitar new expression in a modern context has seen her collaborate with Thievery Corporation, Sting, Nitin Sawhney and Norah Jones. Anoushka will be appearing with an ensemble of virtuoso Eastern and Western musicians performing Indian classical and fusion music from her three CD's, Anourag, Rise and Breathing Under Water. Come and be mesmerized. Stoughton Opera House, 381 East Main St. Event starts at 7:30PM. For more information call (608) 646-0019.

Disguises, secret meetings, rude letters and a sword dance set off mayhem, mishaps and much more.
