Feb 5 - Feb 5 Baraboo - Spanish Brass. A very wide-ranging program going from J.S. Bach to works by Spanish composers such as Joaquin Turina, Isaac Albeniz, Manuel de Falla or Enric Granados, with popular Latin American music and the world of jazz ( Chick Corea, Antonio Carlos Join, D. Feb 7 - Feb 7 Baraboo - Candlelight Ski/Hike. The Friends of Mirror Lake will be hosting a torchlit ski/hike/snowshoe event. The route consists of two 1-mile loops that start out at the Picnic area. The Friends will have 2 roaring bonfires going to keep you warm and also be selling food and beverages. There is no cost for the event but a valid Wisconsin State Park Admission sticker is required on all vehicles. These stickers may be purchased at the park office upon entrance. Feb 21 - Feb 21 Baraboo - The Second City. Since 1959, The Second City has maintained its status as the best improvisational comedy group in the country. As a "boot camp" for comedy, performers such as Bill Murray, Chris Farley, Mike Myers and Julia Louis-Dreyfus have all completed a "tour of duty" on the road with The Second City. Mar 14 - Mar 14 Baraboo - Gilligan's Island - The Musical, starring Barry Williams. America's favorite TV show is back and better than ever in Gilligan's Island - The Musical, starring The Brady Bunch's own Barry Williams as the "Professor." Written by the creator of Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch, this new musical features 20 original songs written by Paul McCartney's lead guitarist, Lawrence Juber. Al Ringling Theatre. Mar 28 - Mar 28 Baraboo - Carlene Carter. Daughter of the legendary June Carter Cash and Country Music Hall of Famer Carl Smith, and stepdaughter of the enduring Johnny Cash, Carlene Carter is heir to one of the richest musical legacies of all time.
