Kenosha County

Kenosha County is the southeastern most county in Wisconsin. From the shores of Lake Michigan to its surrounding communities, there are more things to see and do than ever before. While in the area, enjoy one of the championship golf courses operated by the Kenosha County Park System and visit the other public parks which offer a diverse range of recreational opportunities for all seasons.

Parks, beaches, marinas and nature areas accounts for nearly 90% of the Lake Michigan shoreline. While visiting you will find places like the Warren J. Taylor sunken garden with more than 50 varieties of flowers planted annually in 31 formal beds. Also, don’t forget to stop by the Richard Bong State Recreational Area which contains almost 30 miles of trails for biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking and horseback riding, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and hunting areas. We invite you to take a dip, cast a line or drop anchor and enjoy the scenic beauty of these parks and many more.
