• 1 - 31 Johnson Creek - Premium Outlets Pink Event . Premium Outlets will team up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support breast cancer awareness, outreach, research and treatment programs in local communities October 1-31. • 3 Janesville - Story and Stroll. This program is designed for preschool aged children (suggested ages 2, 3 & 4 year olds) along with their parents or caregivers. • 5 - 7 St. Germain - Northwoods Fall Art Tour. The Northwoods Art Tour is a self-guided tour of 32 artists' studios, many which are rarely open to the public. • 6 - 7 Eagle River - 33rd Annual Cranberry Fest. Fun family festival celebrating the Cranberry Harvest. • 12 - 21 Reedsburg - Fermentation Fest. Fermentation Fest is a food and farming festival, with a focus on fermentation in all its forms. It is based in Reedsburg and surrounding communities. Last year, it attracted more than 4,000 visitors from all over the Midwest. Other plans for this year's festival include classes and workshops, special events, a trade fair for food- and farming-related products, exhibits and refreshments. A major food event will showcase "from scratch" specialties of area restaurants, farmers, growers, brewers, cheese makers, wine makers and other food producers.
