With 21 lake accesses to choose from, finding a place on the lake to relax has never been easier. Little Muskego is home to the city’s public beach. Aptly named Idle Isle Park, this park features a sandy public beach, boat launches and a handicap accessible fishing pier.

Muskego, WisconsinThe annual Muskego Community Festival is held the weekend before Labor Day. The Festival provides the community with a weekend of entertainment and fun for the entire family. Offering the hottest live entertainment and a host of activities for children of all ages, the festival prides itself in being the largest “Free Admission” festival in Southeast Wisconsin. It is organized by hundreds of volunteers and sponsored by community organizations. It’s a weekend of fun for all ages, offering food, beverage, carnival rides, performances by top area bands and much more.

Muskego, WisconsinThe Muskego Waterbugs Ski Team was formed in 1958, making it one of the first ski show clubs in Wisconsin. The club has made Little Muskego Lake its home since 1981. Over the years, the club has performed throughout the Midwest, including 25 years of shows at Milwaukee's Summerfest. It has received a number of awards — including the Wisconsin State Division II Championship and National Division II runner up honors.

Muskego, WisconsinAlthough Muskego is known for its relaxed natural atmosphere, it also serves up attractive shopping and commercial districts along Janesville Road between Moorland Road and Racine Avenue. Small specialty shops to department stores are available. Shops in the area sell fine jewelry, musical instruments, gifts and cards, pet supplies and recreational vehicles. There’s also a fresh farmers market. Muskego is a desirable place to live and recreate, which is why the community continues to grow and flourish.
