The Chippewa Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to welcome you to the communities of Eau Claire, Menomonie, Chippewa Falls, Town of Union and Altoona. We have much to offer in services and entertainment to ensure your stay in our area is an enjoyable and unforgettable one.
 The Red Cedar and Chippewa River Trails are available year round for outdoor activities. During Spring, Summer and Fall, you may enjoy walking, biking and in-line skating on the trail. In Winter, the Chippewa River Trail is used for snowmobiling while the Red Cedar Trail is groomed for cross-country skiing. Trail passes for biking, cross-country skiing and in-line skating are required for everyone 16 years and older on the state portion of the Chippewa River Trail and all of the Red Cedar State Trail.
 The Chippewa Valley area is home to a variety of sports venues, from major multi-purpose facilities and collegiate playing fields, to soccer parks and little league base ball complexes.The Chippewa Valley is home to two major universities, one of Wisconsin's biggest technical colleges and schools that rank among the best in the state. Top class men's fastball players and teams traveled from around the world to compete in our International event, the Men's World Fastball Tournament. Hungry?  If you have a 4-wheeler and no place to ride, take an adventure on our many wooded trails. Fine lodging, restaurants, shopping and entertainment options are plentiful. Bring your camera!
