You can even enjoy ice-skating year round at the beautiful Olympic-size Naga-Waukee Ice Arena. County-owned and operated, our two Ice Arenas serve the area in many ways; from Hockey Leagues to open ice skating and birthday parties. Naga-Waukee Ice Arena is Olympic-size, available for public skating hours in the summer and holidays. Services include skate rental, skate sharpening, lessons and gift certificates.

Landmark on the National Register of Historic Sites and open for public tours. The Greek Revival structure, built by Nelson P. Hawks, has been described as an "unsurpassed example of an early stagecoach stop." It was the center of social
and political life in the frontier village of Delafield. Built two years
before Wisconsin became a state, Hawks Inn welcomed farmers in search of a
homestead, trappers, traders, territorial politicians, and miners in search of
a strike in the lead mines of western Wisconsin.
Modern visitors will find it easy to imagine themselves as pioneer travelers as
they step across the threshold of this charming inn.
 The Glacial Drumlin Trail is a 51-mile trail developed on an abandoned railroad grade. The trail is located in southern Wisconsin, between the City of Waukesha, running along the outskirts of Delafield. In the summer the trail is open to hikers, joggers, and 7 miles near Delafield are paved for in-line skaters. It’s also a popular biking trail. The asphalt and crushed packed limestone surfaces provide a scenic bicycle ride through glacial landscapes between Waukesha and Cottage Grove. Snowmobilers and skiers can use the trail during the winter months. Winter is just as fun and exciting. For a unique and serene experience, cross-country ski at Lapham Peak State Park under the winter moon and stars. Lapham Peak has some of Wisconsin’s finest cross-country ski trails and one of the few lighted trails. Ice-skating, snowshoe trails, dog sledding, down-hill skiing at nearby Olympia Ski Hill and a sledding hill at Nashotah Park for some old-fashioned winter fun, are sure to accommodate your recreational needs.
