The leaves are falling, so take your family on an Autumn color cruise! An excellent fall color tour is the Upper Mississippi River Valley, where tall limestone and sandstone bluffs are painted with amber, yellow, golden and orange hues. This is a gorgeous drive with the river on one side of the road and the wooded bluffs on the other. Explore nearly 250 miles of the Wisconsin west border amidst over 30 picturesque river towns, parks, wilderness areas and historical storefronts. The Mississippi River is also a main corridor for migrating birds. Begin in Dickeyville in the south at the junction of US 61 and US 151, and follow along the western edge of the state all the way to Prescott! There's always something to do Around Wisconsin!

Halloween Candlelight Cave Tour

Family-oriented evening to visit Ledge View's trails and caves by candlelight and meet some unusual personalities with strange stories. The tour is educational rather than scary, with the focus on education, not fright. Minimum recommended age is 5 years old with parent. Wear old clothes: you may get dirty. Caves are accessed by stairs and ladders. Tours will depart every half hour. No reservations taken. The event is a fundraiser. Ledge View Nature Center, W2348 Short Road. Event starts at 6:00PM and ends at 8:30PM.

5th Annual Hunting Moon Pow Wow

Celebrate Native American culture and traditions at this annual Pow-Wow sponsored by the Forest County Potawatomi. A pow wow session begins with the Grand Entry, during which all the dancers line up by dance style and age. This competition Pow Wow will feature Native American dancers and drums. Exhibitors will sell Native American jewelry, crafts, and ethnic foods. Fri doors open 3PM; Sat & Sun doors open 10AM. Held at Potawatomi Bingo Casino, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Free admission. Parking is free for all participants and guests.

Medford - Harvest Days

A Craft show and Dance be held downtown along with a Harvest Days parade, Sunday at 2PM. Trick or Treating following the parade until 5PM in the city of Medford.

Don't miss this! Bring your children to the twin villages along the Wisconsin River for a family safe trick or treating experience. Businesses along Water Street will stay open late to treat youngsters. The Pumpkin Junction in Sauk City's Historic Park features multiple business trick or treat "porches". Children will receive free trick or treat bags. There will also be a free shuttle bus between the downtown areas of Prairie du Sac and Sauk City. Downtown. Make sure you stop by with the kids for a great time! Event starts at 4:00PM and ends at 7:00PM.

What goes on in this little burg on the last Saturday in October? There are Aliens everywhere you look! Even a UFO Parade at 1:30PM with candy actually flying through the air! We will never know exactly what police officers Glen Kazmar & Jeff Furseth saw on January 16th 1987, but it made Belleville the UFO Capitol of the World. Come out for a fun-packed day that has something for everyone! There will be a Craft Fair, Fun Run, Parade, beer tent, Pet Costume contest, Forbidden Forest Haunted Trail, and Kid's Games.
