Waupaca County

Since the early days of settlement, visitors have traveled to Waupaca County to enjoy the area’s many lakes, sparkling rivers, gorgeous scenery and small-town atmosphere. Stay for a bit to explore what this unique and lovely area has to offer; a chain of 22 sparkling, spring-fed lakes, Crystal River canoe trips, a number of local golf courses, hiking, biking and snowmobile trails, campgrounds, the National Ice Age Trail, rental cottages; fine and casual dining, and always a charming gift shop just around the corner.

The Iola Old Car Show recently grew to nearly 5,000 spaces, proving that this small Wisconsin town has one of the largest automotive swap meets in the country. Free parking is located adjacent to the show grounds, with shuttle service available to and from the main gates. Well marked routes with signs are easily accessible from highways for spectators. A wide variety of food and refreshments are conveniently available on the show grounds, including complete breakfast, chicken and steak dinners, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, barbecue beef, chicken sandwiches, cheese curds, milk shakes, ice cream bars, yogurt, egg rolls, beer and soda.
