The Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa is a sovereign nation. Sovereignty means having the right to make decisions and act accordingly, to exercise self-determination. The Lac du Flambeau Chamber of Commerce is located at 602 Peace Pipe Road in downtown Lac du Flambeau. It is approximately 1/2 mile from the Lake of the Torches Casino on on Highway 47. The Chamber is open 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, offering visitors and locals alike information about the area. We also have a 24-hour touch screen information computer in the Casino. There are also other information computers located throughout Vilas County and 11 other communities.
