Semi-Convoy for Suicide Awareness
On Saturday, May 6th, 2023, the 3rd Annual Semi Truck-Convoy for Suicide Awareness will occur with over 120 Semis from around Wisconsin and the United States. This event is in loving memory of Nicole Warner, who took her life at 19. The trucking industry shares this grief of suicide with truck drivers experiencing the fifth highest risk for work-related suicide. The Convoy is a one-of-a-kind event on this side of Wisconsin. This family-friendly event can be viewed from Masters Gallery in Oostburg, Wi, starting at noon going onto I-43 North to Kellnesville. People can watch the Convoy along the frontage roads and overpasses on I-43. Once the Convoy arrives in Kellnesville the trucks will be parked so everyone can see these beautiful trucks up close. Also, at Kellnesville Bar and Banquet, there will be raffles, music, and food. The money raised will be donated to Mental Health America Lakeshore. Deenice Warner is also a Semi Truck Driver, and the loss of her daughter, Nicole Warner, is why she is bringing awareness to suicide.
