PFAS: A Growing Health and Environmental Concern

Clean Water Action Council of Northeast Wisconsin is hosting a conference to educate about PFAS concerns and initiatives in our area. They will be joined by various medical and legal professionals, along with area legislators and biologists to discuss the impact of PFAS in the region. Dr. Beth Neary will discuss the health risks of exposure. Rob Lee from Midwest Environmental Advocates will present on the current legal actions happening in our state. Executive Director, Dean Hoegger, along with CWAC staff will discuss the local municipality efforts and water testing and remediation. The panel will consist of area legislators and Peter Burres of Wisconsin Conservation Voters.

The registration fee is $12 to cover beverage service and a buffet style lunch with gluten free and other non-allergy choices.
