Lighthouse Big Band: Standards and the Movies

“Standards and the Movies” featuring resident ensemble Lighthouse Big Band and guest vocalists Eva Thelen-Dunphy and Corynn Latta.

The Lighthouse Big Band’s first show of this season will feature songs considered as “standard literature” in the jazz world, in addition to movie themes that have reached that status.

The band will be joined by guest vocalists Eva Thelen-Dunphy and Corryn Latta to add even more excitement to the evening. Come join us for a fun summer evening of big band jazz and dance.

A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of a check in the amount of $1,600.00 to Julie Gilgenbach as the result of the fundraiser the Lighthouse Big Band presented in July. The funds go to the Dan Gilgenbach Music Scholarship, a $1,000 scholarship awarded to a graduating senior who is attending a Fond du Lac County school and will be pursuing a major in Music, Music Therapy, Music Performance, or Music Education.
