Knightwind Ensemble Winter Concert

The Knightwind Ensemble, Milwaukee’s premier wind ensemble, presents their Fall Concert, under the direction of Dr. Erik N. Janners. The featured piece on this concert is Steampunk Suite (Dr. Erika Svanoe). The Suite attempts to depict various scenes that take place in a fictional alternate history that features notable people alive in the Victorian era, with popular music like the cakewalk, march, waltz, and the song “Daisy Bell”, combined with sounds of clockwork and imagined steam technology.
