Clean Water Action Council’s Annual Banquet will be held at Riverside Ballroom on Thursday, April 25th.
Our annual banquet features a silent auction with a huge selection of art, collectables, and unique gift certificates. The auction begins at 5 PM and ends at 8 PM.
Dinner choices are gluten free, and mostly locally sources and organically grown. Choose a roasted chicken quarter or a roasted portabella mushroom with Marianna sauce. Both include baby red potatoes, a vegetable, salad, gluten free dessert, and coffee. Tables can be reserved for parties of six.
The program includes our Environmental Citizen Award and introduction of board members.
The features speaker is Amanda Smith, an Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Biologist for the DNR. Her work covers northeast Wisconsin including coordinating responses to high-profile AIS, leading AIS prevention efforts and is the point of contact for the public and partners.
Live Music, 5:30 – 6:00 and 7:15-7:45 by local folk musician John Rybski.
All proceeds raised during this event will contribute to Clean Water Action Council’s operations that are exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, and for the promotion of environmental impacts on the waters of our region.
