WRCT last produced this wonderful comedy in 1999. Linda Garski loved directing it so much then, she wants to do it again! In the Baptist backwoods of the Bible Belt, the beleaguered Turpin family proves that living and dying in the South are seldom tidy and always hilarious. Amidst the chaos, the Turpins turn for comfort to their friends and neighbors, an eccentric community of misfits who just manage to pull together and help each other through their hours of need, and finally, a funeral. Evening performances on 5/10, 5/11, 5/16, 5/17 and 5/18/19 begin at 7:30pm. Sunday matinee on 5/19/19 begins at 2:00pm. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the WRCT Ticket Office, by phone at 715-421-0435, via email at [email protected], or online at www.wrctheatre.org.
