Mike Paul of Paul Auction Company in Kewaskum will also provide interesting and entertaining information to the audience. Due to the popularity of this event, only one item per person is permitted. May 5 - May 5 West Bend - Meet Helen Keller at Living History Encampment. A special visit from Helen Keller, portrayed by Jessica Michna. Helen will reminisce about her life and give you an insight into her struggles and triumphs. Also, visit with a blacksmith, learn about the daily activities of women on the frontier and compare it with life today. May 10 - May 10 West Bend - The Native Gardner: Ho Chunk Corn Workshop. Join Rhonda Funmaker, Ho Chunk Bear Clan member in a hands on workshop at the Washington County Historical Society from 6:30PM to 8:30PM to learn about traditional methods and the significance of corn to the Ho Chunk people. Taste of traditional corn pudding and hear about dishes made with corn and grind a sample of your own to take home! Registration is required for this program as space is limited.
