Feb 24 - Mar 24 Monroe - Badger Conference Art Exhibit. Participating high schools in the 2012 exhibit are Baraboo, Monroe, Mount Horeb, Oregon, Portage, Reedsburg, Sauk Prairie, Stoughton, Verona, and Waunakee. Both two and three-dimensional pieces have been created in media such as watercolor, tempera, oil, acrylic, graphite, colored pencil, charcoal, ceramic. wood, photography, jewelry, metal fabrication, and computer-generated art. Mar 10 - Mar 10 Monroe - YMCA Celtic Run Before You Crawl 5k and Kids' Run. The event kicks off a fun-filled, festive day in Monroe which also includes the Celtic Pub Crawl in downtown Monroe. Whether you're an avid runner, casual walker or in between, this is a great event to start the season.
