  • Mar 24 - Mar 24 Madison - The 6th Annual Full Speed Ahead After 50. This one-day event offers a positive and fun atmosphere that focuses on promoting active, healthy lifestyles for adults over the age of 50. Highlights include: community resource fair, health screenings, sit-down lunch, and entertainment by PianoFondue, dueling pianos. Over 20 different workshops to choose from!   • Mar 25 - Mar 27 Madison - WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament. The top teams in Wisconsin meet for the WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament to compete for the state title. The WIAA began sponsoring a girls basketball tournament program in 1976 and the tradition continues today. Check the WIAA website for Tournament details and a complete listing of match ups.   • Mar 27 - Mar 27 Madison - Artworks Madison. Fine art are juried into this indoor event. Artists will join together to show you their latest art work. A few of these artists are exhibiting their creations for the first time in a public venue. Admission free, parking charge. Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Center Way.   • Mar 27 - Mar 27 Madison - Broken Dol - An Editorial Photographic Event. Broken Doll is a traveling editorial photographic exhibition event inspired by the inward search for fantasy and make-believe, where dress up, tea parties and playing with dolls create a grown up illusion tarnished by the bleakness of reality. At the event, you will experience what it is like to create a fashion, beauty, and culinary conceptual photo shoot.   • Apr 10 - Apr 10 Madison - Terrace Town 2010 Going Green. Free and open to the public. Terrace Town engages local schools to study architecture and community planning in the classroom. This year, participants are challenged to design sustainable neighborhoods using recycled materials. The public is invited to view over 10,000 square feet of miniature cities designed and created by 1,500 students. Join in on the fun with activities designed to draw out the builder in all of us!   • Apr 27 - Apr 27 Madison - Wright Lecture Series. Free and open to the public. "Generation Mobile: The Death of Distance". Jennifer Siegal is known for her work in creating the Prefab home of the 21st century. She is the founder and principal of the Los Angeles-based firm Office of Mobile Design (OMD). Drawing on her fascination with materials, Siegal is constantly experimenting with new ways of making her units sustainable. Most recently she worked with students at Taliesin West to design and build the award-winning Taliesin Mod.Fab; a prefabricated off-the-grid home located on the desert terrain.   • May 18 - Jun 29 Madison - T'ai Chi at Monona Terrace . Tuesdays & Thursdays from May 18-June 29, 12:00 - 12:45PM, on the rooftop, open to the public. Ease the stress out of your busy workday! Connect with your mind and body through the fundamentals of Tai Chi in an easy to learn routine. Registration is available on-site. Wear loose fitting clothing and comfortable shoes.   • Jun 12 - Jun 12 Madison - Push.Pull.Pedal.. Bring your wagons, skates, scooter or bikes and join Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for the 2010 Push, Pull or Pedal for Herma Heart Center. This event includes a one or five mile route. You may participate as an individual or as part of a team. Funds raised through this event benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's Herma Heart Center.
