Rotary Gardens is a 15-acre botanical garden showcasing a variety of internationally themed and specialty gardens. Rotary Gardens is dedicated to international peace and friendship signified by the 20-foot sculpture at the garden entrance. The perfect complement to Janesville’s historical attractions is the nearby Milton House Museum. Rich in history, the Milton House Museum is one of 12 Underground Railroad National Historic Landmarks in the U.S. This stagecoach inn is the oldest grout building in the United States.

The performing arts community in Janesville finally has a place to call home!! Janesville Performing Arts Center’s unique setting lends it character. It is the site of the original Janesville High School, which opened in 1923. The Auditorium is full of wonderful examples of 1920s architecture. From the Prairie Style stained glass and ornate plaster molding to the original massive light fixtures, the Center is a wonderful space to sit back and enjoy a performing arts event. Well known for its tremendous acoustics, the Center has been upgraded with lighting and sound equipment that enhance the natural acoustic sound. The theatre offers a wide variety of wonderful shows and performances. Janesville also offers many annual events as well including: AirFEST, Winter Wonderland Walk, Harvestfest, Rock County 4-H Fair, Civil War Weekend, Tallman Arts Festival, Parade of Lights, the Home Show and much more.
