Mar 2 - Mar 4 Bayfield - Bayfield Winter Festival.
Events throughout the weekend include: The Run on Water - Run, walk, ski, skate, skijor, or snowshoe 5 miles across frozen Lake Superior to Madeline Island and back on the Ice Road; the Polar Bear Plunge(both fundraisers for BRC). Mt. Ashwabay Winterfest Bash Including a chili contest, bonfire, live music & night tubing! Big Ice Golf Tournament, kiteboards on the Lake, softball on ice, human-powered dogsled races, and an Ice Bike Dash. Bayfield Area Recreation Center. For more information call (715) 779-5408.
