17th Annual Apostle Islands Sled Dog Race |

| Two main races: an 8 dog, 80-mile race and a 6 dog, 60-mile race. A 40-mile Sportsman's Race and a 16 and under 8 to 10-mile Family Race will also be held over the weekend. Multiple spectator locations with amenities including warming tent with concessions and bonfire. This race is a favorite among mushers in the Midwest averaging over 100 teams entered. "Meet the Mushers" Dinner is Friday night at 6PM at Bayfield Lakeside Pavilion open to the public. Event starts at 10AM. |

| Horse-drawn sleigh rides throughout the scenic orchards as well as wine and product tasting featuring the popular tart Montmorency cherry in celebration of National Cherry Month; cherry brats, hot dogs, cherry pie and an assortment of bakery goods. The annual cherry pit spit competition is at 1:30PM, open to all ages. Enjoy free trolley rides, wine glass painting, and local musician Erin Krebs performs for you.
