| The Parade takes place along Prairie du Chien's Historic Downtown District, with celebrations at local restaurants following. Prairie du Chien is located in southwest Wisconsin along the Great River Road, which winds for 250 miles along the banks of the Mississippi River. This National Scenic Byway offers breathtaking beauty, with incredible geological formations along the river and adjacent bluffs. Prairie du Chien is also along the Bald Eagle migration route and is a normal wintering area for these birds in the Mississippi River valley. 10:00AM. |
