A traditional Scandinavian Midsommer Festival. Midsummer's Eve is an old tradition in Scandinavia, celebrating the coming of Summer. In Sweden, it is the biggest holiday of the year. The village of Stockholm invites you to a day of traditional arts, food, folk dancing and costumes, the raising of the maypole (midsommarstang) and a celebratory evening bonfire to mark the solstice.
