Each year, dozens of eagles winter at Prairie du Sac to fish the open waters of the Wisconsin River. Get "eye-to-eye" with eagles at Prairie du Sac, an exceptional location to view these majestic birds. The churning action at the base of the local dam keeps ice from forming on the surface of the water during winter, and this exposes the fish to hungry eagles. Enjoy Birds of Prey shows, guided bus tours, wildlife photography seminar, Native American legends, aerial antics, and family activities. Special program Friday Evening, January 16th at the River Arts Center-Sauk Prairie High School, 105 Ninth Street.
