In December 2007, over 500 children were able to visit with Santa on the caboose of the train, and 5000+ people took in the sights, sounds and smells of an authentic steam engine train. As an added bonus, visitors were able to watch as 13 tons of coal and 8,000 gallons of water were loaded into the engine as it refueled for its departure. Santa will again visit with a limited number of children(exact number to be announced later). Train will arrive Friday evening, stay all day Saturday, and leave Sun afternoon. Call for exact times. December 12th thru 14th, 2008 Phillips
An entire evening of entertainment as you enjoy dinner, fun and frolic in the Renaissance style of Medieval times. Olbrich hosts Madison's annual community Kwanzaa celebration. Kwanzaa is a seven-day celebration of the African American spirit and culture. This non-religious celebration will feature music, poetry, singing and dancing. The event is free and open to all members of the community.
