At the fair enjoy midway rides, games, 4-H displays, vendors and more for the whole family.Rides and Midway, Senior Bingo & livestock auction Thursday. Entertainment: Friday , Cracker(8PM-grandstand); Saturday The Arise Band(6PM-pavilion) and Andy Griggs(8PM-grandstand). Concerts free with Gate Admission. Tuesday July 22nd: Sneak-a-Peek FREE Gate Admission - rides & midway open 6PM, Superior Speedway Racing(Admission for Races) open at 6PM, races at 7PM. Fairgrounds at 47th Street & Tower Avenue.

Sunday: 8:30AM Open Horse show & Apple River Riders drill team, 7PM demolition derby. No admission for grandstand events except demolition derby. Biggest/Tallest/Longest Weed In Polk County Contest! The Fairgrounds is located at 800 Lousiana Avenue, St Croix Falls.

Don’t be late for the 2008 Blake's Prairie Junior Fair! Friday: Demo Derby. Saturday: Combine Demo Derby, wristband day, Lawn Tractor and ATV pull, Kid’s Pedal Tractor pull & Wrist Wrestling! Sunday: Tractor pull, Horse, Pony & Cat Judging, Chicken Barbeque, an Ugliest Truck Contest, Parade, an Antique Tractor pull, a Senior Citizen Pie Eating Contest, American Mini Pullers, a Teen dance, and Fireworks at dusk. Always free admission for youths under 12 years of age. the fairgrounds are located on Fairgrounds Road, north of Bloomington.

Enjoy a blue ribbon good time and good food at the Columbia County Fair! Amusement rides, large midway, grandstand shows, tractor pulls, fireworks, food and fun for the whole family!! Sheep, goat, horse, swine, dog, poultry and beef judging. Cavies and Rabbit Judging. Moto Cross pull on Thursday. Friday is "Good Neighbor Day"-(1:00-6:00 p.m.- 4 rides for $5.00 with two non-perishable items of food. Food will be donated to local food pantries). A Pork Barbecue, Kiwanis Bingo , Cat Show, Friday 7PM Demolition Derby. Saturday Music by Herman's Hermits(starring Barry Whitwam) at 7PM. Veteran's Memorial Fairgrounds.

Visit a large buck-skinner's rendezvous encampment with hawk & knife toss, other frivolities, and historic demonstrations. Also, western stunt performances, pony rides, kids face painting, a knickknacks & artifacts tent, music, bake sale, food, and refreshments. This year features professional stunt performers from the Whips Garters and Guns western stunt shows. Performances include; train station holdup, shooting demonstration, Bull Whip demonstration, movie effects, and more. 900 Montgomery Street, 10AM-4PM.

First Annual Blues on the Chippewa Music Festivalr |

Benefiting the Bread of Life food pantry, the FREE concert will feature eight prominent regional acts, including Ellen Whyte, Cool Disposition, Left Wing Bourbon, Mojo Lemon, Catya's Trio, and the Love Buzzards. Music will continue afterward at several different venues in town, all hosting live bands.. No cover charge will be taken at any location, but please bring a non-perishable food donation(official sponsorships are available for $25 and up)."Blues on the Chippewa is a chance for a lot of us to do a little something for the community," say organizers, "and we hope to use the event on behalf of other worthy causes in years to come." Sunday: Summerfest Car Show 9AM-1PM, trapshoot at 8AM, fire & military equipment display, kids games noon to 4PM, Northern Championship water fights, squeeze box music, food, beverages, & more will top off the weekend fun! Firemen's Park. In addition to the fun at Firemen's Park on Saturday, just down the road Slo's Pub will be hosting their 1st Annual Milk Jug Regatta!
