Enjoy a parade starting at noon with many food stands(including traditional Native American specialties, crafts and food, such as wild rice and delicious Fry Bread), Blue Ribbon Carnival, trophies, general arts & crafts, featuring Native American artists. A special Pow Wow starting at 7PM, followed by a spectacular fireworks display at dusk. Held throughout downtown Lac du Flambeau. 602 Peace Pipe Road, approximately 1/2 mile from the Lake of the Torches Casino on on Highway 47. Also visit the Ojibwe Museum & Cultural Center in Downtown Lac du Flambeau.

Following the early morning completion of the Freedom 5K Walk/Run Race, the annual Grand Parade travels the center of town where Coronation of local royalty also takes place. And who can resist the fun and wackiness of the annual Bed Race? Contestant teams decorate their beds and themselves. Prizes for the fastest and most outrageous decorations are awarded. Youngsters of all ages can’t wait to ‘catch air’ and show their stuff during the annual Three-on-three basketball tournament. And don't miss the best fireworks around starting at dark from Crooked Lake Park.

When's the last time you enjoyed a Wisconsin lawnmower race? The races start at 5PM, with the Hot laps starting one hour before the races. Six classes - IMOW, AP, SP, STOCK, BP, and FX. Six classes, tropies for top five. Plus two races in kids classes: 12 hp stock and 12 hp modified. Trophies for the top five places. Concessions, including beer and food, will be available all day. Heat races start at 3:00PM. Fireworks will begin at dusk. Concessions will be available. Sponsored by the Fifield Fire Department. Fifield Ballpark on Ridge Avenue.

Show and shine all day Saturday, then a Saturday nite concert featuring Elvis Tribute artist Tony Rocker, Patsy Cline (Julie Deinlein) and Young Elvis (T.J. Clementi). Two award days. Free admission. Meet a live Courier Owl, visit the Wizard Bank, search for the Fire Stone, attend Wizard Classes, make Wizard Crafts, play a Lawn Wizard Chess Game, participate in a Tasting Contest, ride the Blue Nite Bus to a mysterious Magic Show, and watch Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone on the Al. Ringling Theatre big screen! Downtown Baraboo.

Enjoy a self-guided hike along the beach and wander the sand dunes along the cordwalk. The trail is lit with tiki torches for this annual summer event. Refreshments served at Sanderling Nature Center. Refreshments served at Sanderling Nature Center. Sorry, no pets or strollers allowed on the hike. Park at Sanderling Nature Center or North Beach lots. Several events are scheduled throughout the year at Kohler-Andrae. Most events are free, but all vehicles entering the park need to have a vehicle admission sticker. Kohler-Andrae State Park, 1020 Beach Park Lane. Event starts at 8:30PM and ends at 10:30PM.

Catfish 50 Bike Tour

Looking to fill a weekend with more than just a bike ride? Trempealeau is the place to be. This ride is held in conjunction with the famous Catfish Days in downtown Trempealeau. It's always a great time with the fisherman and bikers exchanging stories - the big hill we climbed or the big fish that got away! The ride starts along side the Mighty Mississippi River and travels through Perrot State Park, then north into the hills of southern Trempealeau County. Race participants have six categories for men and women, as well as tandem and hand cycles.
