Friday morning: the June CranDairy Breakfast at Lincoln High School. Arts, crafts and cranberry products available Saturday at Robinson Park along with family-friendly activities, live music and plenty of cranberry treats. Downtown Wisconsin Rapids hosts world class blues musicians Cadillac Pete and the Heat, Studebaker John, and James Solberg Saturday night. Sunday: kids' fishing contest, cranberry blossom duck derby, and blossom-themed parade beginning at 12:30PM. Witter Field / Downtown / various Wisconsin Rapids locations.

25th Annual Czech-Slovak Festivalr

June 20th thru 22nd, 2008 Phillips
One of northern Wisconsin's largest ethnic festivals. The event includes a Lidice Memorial Service on Friday, June 20 at 7PM, and runs through the weekend. Sat & Sun - arts & crafts fair, ethnic food, Kolachy baking contest, pork & sauerkraut dinner (Sunday at 11AM), exhibits, squeeze box jamboree, live music & dancing, Polka Mass on Saturday, Antique Farm Equipment and Fun-Fun-Fun. Buy Kolacky by the dozens at the bakery booth or one with coffee at the hospitality table. General admission, 10 & under free. Free entrance with a traditional ethnic costume. Phillips High School.

The Fair will be held at MREA's headquarters. Since its inception in 1990, the Energy Fair has shown 190,000 fairgoers how to change the world while having fun. Each summer the Fair transforms rural Custer, Wisconsin into the global hot spot for renewable energy education. The Energy Fair is the world's largest renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living educational event of its kind, featuring hundreds of workshops and exhibits all emphasizing clean energy & sustainable living. Summer festival at the winery - Fete des Fleurs "flowering of the vines". Activities include complete wine tastings, Chateau winery tours, art & craft booths, gourmet foods featured by local restaurants, vineyard tours, carriage rides, live music and dancing throughout the entire weekend. Thursday is entry day with entertainment in the evening which includes bull riding. Friday is the dairy show & exhibit judging, Llama/Alpaca Judging, and a first-rate draft horse pull & music by Maggie Mae at 7PM. Saturday has additional judging of livestock & draft horses, a Rabbit show, Poultry show, champion livestock sale & Demolition Derby. Musical entertainment in the evening is The Reactors Band in the Tent - sponsored by the Elroy Fire Department. Sunday: dairy breakfast-carnival-games-fair food and more! Free gate & parking. A weekend filled with great food, entertainment, and music, plus the Taste & Treasures of New Glarus. Downtown streets will be lined with food stands and displays as you sample locally produced foods, beverages, and special bargains for shoppers. Craft fair in the park. The weekend highlight is the presentation of Johanna Spyri's classic play, Heidi. Four performances are staged by local actors in a warm presentation that includes live goats and kittens on stage! "Heidi" drama performed at the High School Fri 7:30PM, Sat 10:30AM & 1:30PM, & Sun 1:30PM. Festival Grounds.
