Activities include a 30-team softball tourney, motorcycle poker run, horseshoe tourney, 5k run, talent show, kiddie parade, Grand Parade on Sunday, tractor pull, live music, and some of the tastiest BBQ chicken made in Wisconsin. Downtown Arcadia. Bike Ride: Five choices of routes from 10 to 60+ miles, thru scenic hills and valleys of the Arcadia area. See one of the most beautiful overlooks in Wisconsin during the medium and long tours. Ho-Chunk Nation Memorial Day Pow-wower |

A pow-wow is an Indian social gathering that usually includes dance and music. Twice a year the Ho-Chunk welcome all friends and neighbors to attend their pow-wow held as a celebration of thanks. It provides a time to gather and enjoy drums dancing, and a wide variety of crafts available from vendors across the country. Visitors spend their day enjoying the vibrant colors and designs of the dancers' outfits and admiring their fluid, beautiful dancing. At the Andrew Blackhawk Memorial Pow-wow Grounds - Hwy 54.

Galloway House & Village Half-Price Weekend |

Tour this 1900's era village with more than 30 buildings representing various old time shops, the Blakely Museum, and CCC Barracks Museum for half the price of regular admission. Demonstrations include fintknapping, spinning, candlemaking, natural dying, currency of the time, blacksmithing, tinsmithing, old-time taffy pull, and more. Music at various times. 7th Annual Southern Wisconsin AirFEST |

May 24th & 25th, 2008 Janesville
The Southern Wisconsin AirFEST welcomes the Canadian Snowbirds Jet Team, the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, the United States Navy F-18 East Coast Demonstration Team, and the United States Air Force F-15 West Coast Demonstration Team to this seventh annual event. Show Addition - The Navy T-2 Buckeye will join the F/A-18 each day following the solo demonstration for the presentation of the Navy's Legacy Flight. Gates open: 9AM, opening ceremonies at 12:30PM. Christian Family Music Fest |

Make your plans now to attend the third annual Christian Family Music Fest. This years event is expanding to two days with a Battle of the Bands contest on Friday night and great music from some of the top stars in the Christian Music industry on Saturday. One ticket price gets you into the full weekend of entertainment. Performers will include Mark Schultz, Barlow Girl, Rush of Fools, Ayiesha Woods and others. Also added this year is on site camping.
