Take bowling to a whole new level of fun by converting the Chippewa Falls Ice Arena into a 16 lane bowling alley for one weekend. Live music both nights; Friday 8:30-12:30PM and Saturday 7-11PM. Friday night Fish Fry, beer garden, games, raffles, silent auction and of course bowling on ice. April 11th thru 13th, 2008 Stevens Point
The contest lasts 54 hours, starting Friday evening at 6PM and continuing through Sunday midnight, heard on WWSP 89.9FM, the UW-Stevens Point campus radio. Eight questions are asked over the 90FM airwaves each hour. Team contestants are given the length of time for two songs to play in which to respond with an answer. Contest is open to the public. 90FM trivia is "The World's Largest Trivia Contest". WWSP is the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point alternative radio station, the largest student operated radio station in the entire Midwest. UWSP Communications Bldg.

April 12th, 2008 Baraboo
Make a significant contribution to crane and wetland conservation! The session will include numerous speakers from ICF's various departments, providing entertaining and motivating introductions to the work of ICF. There will be a site tour to view the cranes, enjoy the spring wild flowers in the tall-grass prairie, and meet the other volunteers. Volunteers will receive a training manual that includes Crane taxonomy (the classification of birds), tips for effective communication and interpretation, and new information about ICF's programs and policies. KIDSFest is 5! Celebrate southeastern Wisconsin's best event for families at the Expo Center at State Fair Park. There's fun, entertainment, hands-on activities and learning for the whole family, including six stages of entertainment, themed areas, rock walls, bounce houses, a petting zoo, magicians, clowns, jugglers, music, 100+ exhibitors - 100,000 square feet of fun! World Concertina Congress affiliate, the Central Wisconsin Concertina Club, invites you and your friends to join hundreds of concertina artists, dancers, and old-time music fans as they gather to enjoy a great weekend of music and dancing. For over 35 years, the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh has provided a safe and fun place for children to learn and grow. An annual event, WineFeast raises over $70,000 for the Club and the Oshkosh Southwest Rotary to fund programs that will foster leadership and character within the Oshkosh community. April 19th, 2008 Wisconsin Dells
Country music legend Mel Tillis started performing in the early "50's" with a group called The Westerners while serving as a baker in the United States Air Force, stationed in Okinawa. In 1956, Webb Pierce recorded a song written by Mel entitled "I'm Tired", and it launched Mel's musical career. This prolific country singer/songwriter and actor has scored nearly six dozen hits on Billboard magazine's country singles charts between 1958 and 1988. The Grand Ole Opry inducted Mel Tillis as its newest member on June 9, 2007. 2:00PM & 6:00PM. Crystal Grand Music Theatre.

Celebrate Earth Day with this popular family event featuring environmental exhibits, workshops, nature crafts, horse-drawn wagon rides, and live animals. Brat fry and refreshments.
