Finally! After a record-breaking Winter and record snow cover, the ice is actually starting to recede and the first brave shoots are poking out of the once frozen tundra. Thousands of eggs are dyed here each year...bring up to 3 dozen hard-boiled eggs per person (or less). Learn five different techniques: classic, modern & awesome styles! You bring the eggs, all other supplies are provided. This is great fun and tradition, and you don't have to clean up the mess! Children must be with an adult. Don't forget your camera! Daily times vary. Free parking: 2 hours on the street, free parking all day in city lots. Admission charged per participant. As part of the Great Northwoods Treasure Hunt, Boulder Junction will offer a spring geocaching event at Boulder Junction Winter Park. Starting at 10am, enjoy this introduction to geocaching as you hunt for 12 caches. Complimentary lunch to participants, prizes and wagon rides. The event runs from 10AM-1:30PM and will offer instruction on GPS usage in the morning, lunch at noon, and a prize ceremony at 1:00PM. Oshkosh - Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt

Families can check out fire engines, squad cars and ambulances or bounce around in the two jumpy castles, meet McGruff the Crime Dog and the Easter Bunny or get their face painted. Hunt for Easter eggs all over the park. The event is Saturday March 22nd with festivities beginning at 9AM and the official hunt starting at 10AM. Fish and Game League Sport Show

This annual sports show draws thousands of visitors and many vendors to Superior, Wisconsin, featuring exhibits on fishing, hunting and many other outdoor products. Live fishpond, seminars and drawings for prizes. The Douglas County Fish and Game League invites you to mark your calendar for this popular event. Seminars will be running all three days. Evans is a Rockabilly Hall of Famer and has had one of the longest histories in Rock and Roll Cultdom. Evans originally recorded for Brunswick records in 1957...sharing the stage with Buddy Holly...and later with Bob Dylan. Driving rhythms on his amplified acoustic Martin guitar are augmented by Evans' energetic three-piece band, Ring of Fire, creating a powerful pulse that drives folks right to the dance floor. Beside his classical songs, Leon will sing tunes by Stephen Foster, Gershwin and Rodgers and Hammerstein.
