This is the 14th year the Arena Building comes alive with thousands of new bicycles. Snowmobile radar runs, prizes and raffles, children's activities, bonfires, Frozen Weenie Polar Bear Plunge, commercial vendors, designated parking, outdoor cookout with music, Handicapped access, and of course the World’s Longest Weenie Roast. The Woodboro and Crescent First Responders will host their 3rd Annual Vintage Snowmobile Race, held on March 8 beginning at 10AM at Crescent Lake boat landing(5 miles west of Rhinelander, 7225 Hwy 8 W). This annual round-up brings people together who are interested in restored, exotic, antique and vintage snowmobiles. There are always lots of very nice sleds on display for spectators to look at. This is the last vintage race of the NVSRS 2008 racing season. Food and beverages will be available on the grounds. Expect lots of racing action.

The thrill of one of the most exciting X-Games sports is the final stop on the WPS World Tour. It will crown the 2008 champions, and air on ESPN2. Plenty of up close, high-flying snowmobile action as the world's finest SnoCross pilots compete. The track is laid out on Grand Geneva’s Mountain Top ski hill and allows for both indoor viewing and exceptional outdoor seating in the grandstands. There will also be an expo on site, anchored by the massive Nielsen Enterprises’ tent, and including displays of the new 2008 models from all the major snowmobile manufacturers. Grand Geneva Resort.

St. Patrick's Day Parade & Irish Fest

A Grand Parade and Irish Fest are held on Saturday of a weeklong celebration, beginning with Leprechauns changing the name of the town to New Dublin for the week. The parade includes marching & bagpipe bands, and clan & business floats - 125 units last year. Bring the whole family. Irish Fest is held 11AM-6PM under a huge heated big top and features live Irish music, Irish food, beverages, entertainment, and market booths. This year, Rising Gael will play from from 11AM to 1PM and Green Tea from 3 to 6PM. Downtown New London.
