2007 Canadian Pacific Holiday Train of Lights
Holiday Train Logo
This is the ninth year that the Canadian Pacific Railways Holiday Train will be taking to the rails to raise cash, food and awareness for hunger relief efforts in North America. The train will be decked out with thousands of holiday lights and will be staging a live holiday music show. Show your support for the community and bring non-perishable food items and cash donations.
Entertainers include Juno award-winner Colin Linden, Canadian Music Association Hall of Famer Tracey Brown, and the critically acclaimed family duo Ennis. This week, Around Wisconsin is featuring the Wisconsin communities that will be hosting scheduled stops of the Holiday Train.
Canadian Pacific Railroad Holiday Train

The train consists of a diesel locomotive pulling several freight and passenger cars decorated with thousands of lights. One boxcar has been converted with a stage where entertainers perform at each stop. At each stop, people donate money and nonperishable food, and Canadian Pacific Railway presents a check for the local food bank -- cash donations are especially appreciated because every dollar collected can distribute 5 pounds worth of food. The train has raised about $3 million and 1.6 million pounds of food donations since the program began in 1999.

All arrival times are approximate. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early and check the arrival time prior to attending the event as this schedule is subject to change.
