The Tomahawk Chamber welcomes the deer hunters to Tomahawk with free venison burgers! A Tomahawk tradition for more than 40 years. Free venison burgers, served with chips and soda, is Tomahawk's way to kick off the fall deer hunt. This unique Tomahawk barbecued greeting to visiting hunters and local residents always takes place before the first Saturday of the deer gun season. November 17th, 2007 Baraboo
This year's theme is Toyland and families of all ages will line the streets of Downtown Baraboo to enjoy the glittering floats, costumed characters, and novelty units that make up the Holly Jolly Light Parade. Holiday open house downtown from 10-5 with free refreshments; free horse and carriage rides and strolling carolers. Pre-parade fun starts at 5PM and food stands open; Parade starts at 6PM. and visits and photos with Santa will follow the parade at 7PM at 102 Fourth Avenue (in the Business Center). November 17th, 2007 Pleasant Prairie
Run With The Turkeys? This either refers to the upcoming holiday, or the type of people you're going to be running with. Either way, it's a fun event which takes place around Lake Andrea in Prairie Springs Park in Pleasant Prairie. All registered runners will receive a T-shirt. Age-group winners will receive medals and - as you might expect - turkeys! The run/walk will start at 8:30AM, and registration will be at 8AM at the Donald Wruck Beach Pavilion. The park is located at 9900 Terwall Terrace - State Hwy 165 & County Road H - just east of I-94 on Highway 165.

Taste the first release of the 2007 Ruby Nouveau wine in the winery Great Room along with Wisconsin cheeses. The Ruby Nouveau is an estate-grown dry red with enticing fresh flavors and a zesty finish. It is the perfect holiday wine as it is meant to be enjoyed young and pairs well with holiday foods. A Fun-filled holiday festival, "The Enchanted Christmas". Full of dozens of decorated trees and wreaths. Special events and activities. Festival of Trees will again feature a special Memory Tree which will remember and honor loved ones throughout the 2007 Festival. This year's ornament is a beautiful glittery red star which will be hand painted with the name of the person or pet to be honored along with the year. The season officially begins when the town's Christmas tree is lit up at the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony from 4:30PM - 6:00PM on Saturday, November 24th. After the ceremony, warm up in the Lakeside Pavilion and enjoy holiday treats while listening to Christmas carols performed by the Rittenhouse Inn Singers.
