The Veteran's Day program at Richland Center High School will take place on Monday November 12, with the public invited. Along with speakers and a flag ceremony, the High School band and choir will also be performing. Firing ceremony at 11AM. Richland High School.

The Tomahawk Chamber welcomes the deer hunters to Tomahawk with free venison burgers! A Tomahawk tradition for more than 40 years. Free venison burgers, served with chips and soda, is Tomahawk's way to kick off the fall deer hunt. This unique Tomahawk barbecued greeting to visiting hunters and local residents always takes place before the first Saturday of the deer gun season. Get there early - the sandwiches disappear in a hurry! Begins at 11:00AM and continues until the burgers are gone! Downtown Tomahawk.

Run With The Turkeys? This either refers to the upcoming holiday, or the type of people you're going to be running with. Either way, it's a fun event which takes place around Lake Andrea in Prairie Springs Park in Pleasant Prairie. All registered runners will receive a T-shirt. Age-group winners will receive medals and - as you might expect - turkeys! The run/walk will start at 8:30AM, and registration will be at 8AM at the Donald Wruck Beach Pavilion. The park is located at 9900 Terwall Terrace - State Hwy 165 & County Road H - just east of I-94 on Highway 165.

Taste the first release of the 2007 Ruby Nouveau wine in the winery Great Room along with Wisconsin cheeses. The Ruby Nouveau is an estate-grown dry red with enticing fresh flavors and a zesty finish. It is the perfect holiday wine as it is meant to be enjoyed young and pairs well with holiday foods. An exhibition of fifty dramatic paintings explore more than a century of American life on the water, including 19th century ship portraits and seascapes, New England seaside towns, riverboats and barges plying major waterways, and industrial and leisure images of life on the water.
