Haunted Halloween at Red Ridge Ranch

Haunted Hayride

October 4th thru 28th, 2007 Mauston
Daily activities 10AM-6PM(Thursday - Sundays): hay maze (inside), tractor drawn hayride, pumpkin painting, inflatable slide, an outside corn maze and a petting zoo(sheep, calves, ponies, ducks, goats and more). Friday and Saturday nights only: Haunted hayrides starting at dusk till 10PM. Come and have a good scare out on the dark trail. Watch out for the Headless Horsemen and beware of what the witches are brewing up in their cauldron. Fun for all ages, bring a blanket to curl up in - or cover your head if you are scared. Onalaska Jaycees Haunted House

October 5th thru 31st, 2007 Onalaska
Spooks and monsters are terrorizing this house and scaring the moonlights out of people! Open Fridays and Saturdays thru October, and on Halloween. Kid's Days will be 10/20 and 10/27 from 2-4PM Lights will be on in the house, therefore, not as scary. Rated PG-10 at night. House opens at 7PM; goes until all ticket holders have gone through. Proceeds to go towards flood victims in the Onalaska area. Group rates available. Clearwater Farms, Greens Coulee Road. Take Exit 4 off I-90, take Main Street Exit & watch for signs.

EAA's Slightly Haunted Hangar

EAA's Haunted Hangar

October 19th thru 20th, 2007 Oshkosh
For younger visitors, EAA's Slightly Haunted Hangar is a fun and friendly way to celebrate Halloween. They'll have the opportunity to trick or treat in the EAA AirVenture Museum, play holiday-themed games, participate in Halloween activities and even come dressed in their favorite costume. Admission is included in regular Museum admission. Plus, don't forget that EAA members and children ages five and under are always admitted free to the EAA Museum. Join in on all the fun! Volunteers are needed for this event. EAA AirVenture Museum, 3000 Poberezny Road. 11AM-2PM.

Pumpkin Walk & Haunted Hayride

Glowing jack-o'-lanterns light the way as you hike along a mile-long trail at Roche-A-Cri State Park in Friendship. The annual Pumpkin Walk is held before Halloween and features pumpkin judging, games, candlelight hike and refreshments. Free games and face painting 3-4:30PM, Non-Haunted Hay Rides 3-5PM. Haunted Hay Rides 6-8:30PM. Last tickets sold at 8:30PM. Hay rides $2. A family hayride earlier in the evening. Roche A Cri State Park, 1767 State Road 13. Sponsored by Friends of the Park. CREEPY THINGS that can't wait to jump out and give you a scare! Unhaunted most of the time, on October 20, the Maiden Rock Apples Hayride & Corn Maze will be haunted by all kinds of trouble causing spirits and ghouls! Come out and have a great afternoon or night full of screams and laughs! People 12 and older are welcome to go through the maze alone. All kids under 12 must be escorted by a person age 12 or older. The 14th Annual 'Romp In The Swamp' Family Fun Walk is a fun filled afternoon with lots of activities for both young and old. Romp In The Swamp is going "green" this year: watch for the eco-friendly games, crafts and displays. Enjoy strolling through the Preserve's beautiful trail system in fall while taking advantage of rest stops along the way, where local organizations will be serving delicious treats and goodies. Haunted Carriage House in Fond du Lac

Are you up for a great scare, late 1800s style? The 30-room Galloway House was the "farmhouse" of the Galloway family for three generations, and boasts hand-carved woodwork, etched glass, and hand-stenciled ceilings. Each building of the village is a step-back-in-time experience, as you let yourself wind through the village in the dark of night for a fright at the Haunted Carriage House, Grisly Grist Mill, Creepy Caboose and more. Recommended for teens and adults. General Admission. Historic Galloway House and Village, 336 Old Pioneer Road. 6-9PM.

Annual Fright Hike at Lapham Peak State Park

Fright Hike in Delafield

October 26 thru 27, 2007 Delafield
This is a dark and scary 1-mile walk on trails of Lapham Peak State Park. It's family oriented but you may want to bring a flashlight. Gather round the bonfire for guitar and banjo music and scary stories. Concession stand will serve pizza, popcorn, hot chocolate, soda and coffee. Per person fee six and older, plus entrance to the park per car fee OR a current park sticker. Lapham Peak State Park. Event starts at 5:30PM and ends at 9:00PM. Take I-94 to Hwy. C (Delafield Exit) and Exit South. Lapham Peak Park is approximately 1 mile south of I-94 on Hwy. C.
