Green Bay - Legends On Parade |

September 22nd, 2007 Green Bay
First annual parade, honoring legends of Green Bay Packers football and their fans, starting and ending at the Tundra Lodge (Lombardi at Ashland Ave.), and will kick-off the NFL Alumni-Green Bay Chapter homecoming weekend. Legends to be featured include Bart Starr, Paul Hornung, Jerry Kramer, Max McGee, Fuzzy Thurston and others. There will be bands, cheerleaders from all eras of Packers history, the Green and Gold gang, themed floats and other unique entries. Four new monuments in the Oneida Nation Walk of Legends, on the parade route, will be unveiled the same day. Stadium District east of Lambeau Field. 4:00PM to 5:00PM.

5th Annual Thirsty Troll Brew Fest

This intimate beer sampling features 25 craft brewers serving 75 different beers. Live music by THE KISSERS, an Irish rock band. Food served by area restaurants. Win "2007 Great Taste of the Midwest tickets", sit in the "Thirsty Troll Throne", or get your picture taken with Ivan the Thirsty Troll! National Hunting and Fishing Day Event |

2nd Annual Zoo Run Run at Henry Vilas Park |

Second annual "Zoo Run Run!" to benefit the free Henry Vilas Zoo. The 10K will go through the beautiful UW Arboretum, while the 5K course is in the scenic Vilas neighborhood. Dress up as your favorite zoo animal and you will be automatically entered in a drawing! NEW this year - following the main runs will be the first ever Roo Run Run for kids ages 2-6(1/8-mile). Your smallest kangaroos can run, hop or skip to the finish line and earn a cool prize. The Big Pig Gig. With dozens of competing professional barbecue teams, two national musical acts, 3 stages of live music including national and local acts, a ton of food and beverage vendors, a lumberjack competition, and fun for the whole family. In conjunction with the contest itself, this is a family oriented weekend. Activities and events throughout the weekend would include: Glen Gerard Magic shows, Celebrity Rib Eating Contests, Strolling Magicians and much more. 15th Annual Danish Fall Festival |

Includes an old fashioned parade, Danish and American food and beverages. Special musical guest is Big Mouth and The Power Tool Horns (R&B, Funk and Soul). Local dairies will provide free samples and will be selling their award winning cheeses at special festival only prices. Other events include: arts & crafts show, 6th Annual Chili Contest, kid games, petting zoo, historical museum tours, blacksmithing demonstration, commemorative pie plate & pie auction and free carriage rides. Hare Scramble Motorcycle Race |

September 30, 2007 Rome
Off-road timed endurance competition, classed by motor size. About 120 riders in three classes; two-three hour duration. A trail through the woods leads motorcycle riders on a two hour American Motorcycle Association District 16 sanctioned race. Spend a day watching the riders as they scramble to win the race. Located 13 miles South of Wisconsin Rapids off Highway 13 on Anchor Drive. Event begins at 10AM. Shelter house, picnic tables, restrooms and a children's play area are available. Dyracuse Recreation Area.

Warrens Cranberry Festival |

Fall family fun with thousands of flea/antique/farm market booths, arts & craft show, cranberry harvest tours on Friday & Saturday, a gigantic parade on Sunday at 1PM, midway, and cranberry recipe contest. Cruise the festival to find hand-made souvenir craft items and delicious treats from area vendors. Cranfest has something special for everyone.
