Tickets are on sale for the upper Midwest's leading rock festival. For four days, Beloit's Riverfest will present some of the greatest bands from the past three decades on The Beloit Daily News Main Stage on the Big Lawn of Beloit Riverside Park. Rock from the 70s and 80s will be featured; organizers have added legendary rockers John Kay and Steppenwolf, Grand Funk, Little River Band, Cheap Trick, Eddie Money and Blue Oyster Cult to the lineup. Iola '07 Old Car Show - Coming Up Sevens

Antique auto enthusiasts from throughout the nation will be viewing about 2500 fascinating vehicles ranging from the early 1900's through 1975. Special exhibit areas include the Blue Ribbon, Pre-War, Post-War, Military, Modified and Theme. Over 1,000 collectible cars, 1986 or older, will be offered for sale by their owners. The Swap Meet has 4,460 spaces, loaded with automotive related items. New for 2007, International Classic Auctions will be holding a collector auto auction on Friday evening and Saturday. Patrons will have the option to purchase and sell or cross the field for buying excitement at the ICA Auction. Iola Old Car Show Grounds.

Bastille Days in Milwaukee

The streets of Milwaukee are transformed into a mini French city complete with impromptu street performers, roaming minstrels, a variety of interactive and musical entertainment, and a 43-foot Eiffel Tower replica. Learn basic French phrases at the Daily French lessons. Laugh at the Sunday afternoon Waiter/Waitress race and make sure to have a beignet before heading home. Enjoy a marketplace, more than 25 sidewalk cafes, and the annual Storm the Bastille 5K fun run/walk. East Town/Cathedral Square.

The unique and large selection of fine, handcrafted work includes ceramics, fiber, glasswork, graphics, jewelry, leather, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture, and wood. War of 1812 in Wisconsin: The Battle of Prairie du Chien

A historic encampment and battle re-enactment on Wisconsin's only War of 1812 battlefield, now the lawn of the Villa Louis estate. Learn firsthand about the July 1814 British assault on U.S. Fort Shelby in a battle scenario each afternoon. Then tour the camps to learn about military life in 1814. The British-Canadian forces defeated the vastly outnumbered Americans and occupied Prairie du Chien until the spring of 1815 - five months after the war ended. 9:30AM-5PM. The Karner Blue Butterfly Festival in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, celebrates the endangered Karner Blue butterfly, which is indigenous to the Black River Falls area. During the Festival people can visit the "Butterfly Learning Center" downtown and can visit the butterfly's habitat sites.The Festival also includes a 5K - 10K Run, a grand parade, artists and crafters, live radio broadcast, lumberjack competitions, historical museum tours, live bands and much, much more. 8AM-10PM. All activities provide fun for the entire family. Hwy 54 (Main St).
