Celebrate Irish Heritage! Over 100 musical acts, dance troops, families and other groups are expected to participate in this year's event. The Parade is the culmination of several festivities planned for that weekend to celebrate "All that is Irish." See the Flag Raising by the Shamrock Club in the State Capitol Rotunda at noon. Then catch the 10th Annual St Patrick's Day Parade at 1:30PM. The Parade steps off from the intersection of North Pinckney and East Mifflin Street. Parade route is counter-clockwise around the Capital Square, exiting at East Washington Avenue.

What do people driving thru New London think when they see a gang of leprechauns changing all the highway signs to read "New Dublin"? This family event features over 100 units including marching & bagpipe bands. Also, Irish Fest is held in a huge heated tent featuring entertainment, Irish food, beverages, a raffle drawing, and market booths. The bands will be Stone Ring with traditional Celtic music from 11AM-1PM, and Reilly with Celtic rock from 3PM-6PM. Small all day admission charge. Downtown New London.

Aoife (pronounced "EEfah") Clancy has a voice of an angel, one that ranges from traditional Irish songs to ballads and contemporary folk. Her father, Bobby Clancy of The Clancy Brothers, placed a guitar in her hands at age ten and by the age of fourteen she was performing at local venues with her dad. Aoife was a member of one of the most sought after Irish-American groups in the United States, Cherish the Ladies, and made her first solo debut at the Grand in February, 2001. This visit will be enriched by the participation of her brother, Finbar, and Celtic music legend/producer Robbie O'Connell, who is assembling a band especially for the occasion. Parade starts at 6:00 on the corner of Washington and South 8th Street, and ends at First National Bank, North 8th Street. Featuring area groups, music, floats and fireworks over the harbor, parade starts at 5:30 pm at the Courthouse Pub, fireworks start at 6:30. Downtown Manitowoc.

Great Green Treasure Hunt on Saturday, with the first clue at 9:30AM. Put the clues together to find the secret hiding place of local radio icon Bob Irish and win CA$H prizes! Participating businesses will be offering "Saving of the Green" specials you won't want to miss!
