Come and experience the Canadian Pacific Railway Holiday Train again this year. A boxcar full of performers is coming your way! This year they will be featuring Wisconsin folk rocker Willy Porter, bluegrass/country artist Pat Flynn, and Country music star Tracey Brown. Join us in raising money, food and awareness for your local food bank. Please bring non-perishable food items or cash donations and help beat hunger. Since the Holiday Train program began in 1999, more than $2.4 million and 1.2 million pounds of food have been collected.

Twinkling lights, festive poinsettias, tiny landscapes, and large-scale model trains: all aboard for Olbrich’s Holiday Express! Using large-scale model trains, Olbrich’s horticulture staff will showcase miniature landscapes among 800 colorful poinsettias. During Olbrich’s Holiday Express, members of the Wisconsin Garden Railway Society come from all over the state to show off their large-scale model trains. Also, stop by Olbrich’s lobby and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the Tea Room. 10AM to 4PM daily.

Winter Wonderland Sleigh Rides. Every Saturday & Sunday 2PM, 3PM & 4PM. Enjoy an old-fashioned, horse-drawn sleigh or hay ride every Friday and Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. After the ride, enjoy hot chocolate and a visit with Santa Claus in the Trading Post. Santa will pose for pictures! Ice sculptures contest, horse/wagon rides, visit the live reindeer, children can meet Santa at the Public Library from 10AM-1PM, holiday parade, potato torte cafe at 10AM, cookie walk at 1PM, children’s activities, heritage museums, food, more. Take your children to the Carriage Haus Shops for their free picture at the holiday gingerbread house. Main Street Mayville’s Holiday Parade, featuring Santa and fire trucks at 3PM. Kids write your letters to Santa and give them to the Post Carriers at the end of the Parade. Downtown Mayville.

December 14-17, 2006 Hurley
Located in Wisconsin's Northwoods, the city of Hurley kicks off the snowmobile season with the official 'first ride of the season' during the Red Light Rally. Traditionally held the second full weekend of December, the 25th annual Red Light Rally has been moved one week back due to an extended gun-deer hunting season. The rally will feature such activities as live music, feeds and lots of "reunion-type" fun! Festivities include trail rides on more than 450 miles of groomed trails in the area, a poker run, snow dances, a kick-off party and a downtown snowmobile parade.

Join us for EAA's 23rd Annual Christmas in the Air FREE Community event. For more than 20 years, EAA’s annual open house has featured Madrigal and choral groups from the Oshkosh area, refreshments and a visit from Santa. See Santa arrive by helicopter to meet all of his fans. Make this your newest holiday tradition. New this year will be Just "Plane" Chocolate, a competition to discover the best chocolate dessert in the area. Free to the public. EAA AirVenture Museum, 3000 Poberezny Road.
