6th Annual Necedah Lions Whooping Crane & Wildlife Festival

Calling all Nature Lovers! Join us for a day filled with fun and adventure. The day begins at 7:00 am with guided bus tours of the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge. These unique, behind-the-scenes tours will give you a glimpse into the remarkable effort to re-establish a migratory flock of endangered Whooping Cranes in Wisconsin using ultralight aircraft. Other festivities include art and craft booths, guided tours of a cranberry marsh and the Sandhill State Wildlife Area, live animal displays, and seminars about forests, wolves, falconry, natural landscaping, outdoor photography, and African cranes. Lots of fun activities for children, pony rides, concessions, fly-in breakfast, live music and more! At Lions Park (Formerly NAB Field), Hwy 80 north of Necedah.

39th Annual Wo-Zha-Wa Days Fall Festival

Wo-Zha-Wa Fall Festival

September 15-17 Wisconsin Dells
This will be the 39th year Wisconsin Dells has been welcoming the fall season with the annual Wo-Zha-Wa Days Fall Festival. A festive celebration of autumn, Wo-Zha-Wa Days is filled with free family activities, including an arts and crafts fair, antique flea market, Maxwell Street Days, live entertainment and a 100-unit parade. Visitors are also invited to participate in a street carnival with refreshment concessions and the Wo-Zha-Wa Run. All activities take place throughout downtown Wisconsin Dells and Bowman Park.

Hot blues artists, cold beer and warm Indian summer days - they all come together every September at the Berghoff & Blues Festival, held in Monroe, Wisconsin. This annual celebration of great American music, being held this year at the Joseph Huber Brewery, features some of the best of today's blues artists, good food and great beer. The Monroe Lions Club sponsors the event, with support from Berghoff Beer, brewed by the Joseph Huber Brewing Company.

Wisconsin Fall family fun with thousands of flea market, antiques, and farm market booths, arts & craft show, cranberry harvest tours (Sat only), a gigantic parade on Sunday at 1PM, a large midway, and a cranberry recipe contest. Wade House Civil War Weekend

Wade House Civil War Reenactment

September 22-24 Greenbush
Witness the biggest and best Civil War reenactment in Wisconsin. Join us at historic Wade House for Civil War battle reenactments both days at 2PM with cavalry, infantry and artillery units in action. In the camps, watch Confederate and Union troops conduct infantry and cavalry drills, as well as artillery and musket firing demonstrations. All day, both days, visitors can expect to meet and mingle with Civil War-era soldiers and noncombatants, such as civilian sutlers, or itinerant merchants, who shadowed military units to sell their various wares and items not available through military issue.

Alex van der Tuuk - Author of "Paramount's Rise and Fall" will be on hand signing his book (books will be on sale at the festival). Workshops will be presented in Guitar and Harmonica. You will hear many styles of blues....you pick your favorite! We are certain to have something for everyone!
